One of our international clients engaged in the upstream activities of acquiring, exploring, developing and producing oil and gas is looking for a Contract specialist for the goods and services division in Assen.
Within Global Functions Sourcing (GFS), a Sourcing & Execution (S&E) team has been designed to enable the execution of the GFS Category Management Program. To enable Top Quartile performance within GFS, the Group Functions and their Businesses supported by GFS, a focused Sourcing & Execution Program is required to assure delivery of the commercial procurement work plan items jointly identified by the GFS Category Management teams and the various Businesses and Functions supported by GFS such as Projects and Technology, Own Spend, Real Estate, Travel, Finance, HR Legal, Tax and Infrastructure & Technology.
The successful candidate will work with various customers, and stakeholders within their Businesses, Functions and within GFS to execute Category Management commercial work plans, assuring supply of contracts at market competitive terms and conditions, as well as delivering value through Bottom Line Impacts.
Job Profile for Contract Specialist:
The candidate will deliver substantial value to our clients Businesses and Functions by:
- Contracting and procuring services as well as developing and managing regional and global leveraged agreements.
- Applying leading edge supply chain management techniques.
- Applying supply/value chain analyses and modeling.
- Scoping work, and analysing Contracting & Procurement business requirements and external market dynamics.
- Developing and executing commercial contract strategies as well as operational and commercially managing executed agreements.
- Execute Group Contract Management process for assigned contracts.
- Ensure all commercial activity is fully aligned with the Global Category Management commercial strategies.
Candidate Profile Contract Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree or similar with a proven track record within procurement.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal) and knowledge of Dutch would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and reporting skills.
- Ability to set priorities and deliver results.
- Strong flexibility.
- You must be a self starter.
- Excellent communication and people skills (both written and verbal).
