Job Profile Inspector
Our client’s Inspection Unit ensures that all purchased commodities are shipped in compliance with controlled technical requirements. Through specialist in-house expertise, supported by a network of contracted leading agencies, they drive comprehensive source inspection and quality monitoring programs. Quality assurance is also guaranteed through periodical assessments of approved manufacturers and quality surveys of new manufacturers.
The successful applicant will be responsible under the direction of the Inspection Supervisor for:

Coordination of inspection activities on orders placed with European manufacturers.

Evaluate new manufacturers’ quality system for compliance with international standards (ISO 9001).

Conduct evaluations of Inspection Agencies.

Evaluate whether already approved manufacturers still meet all quality assurance requirements.
Candidate Profile Inspector

HTS Diploma.
-
5-8 years' experience in the petrochemical industry and with quality assurance/quality control engineering.

3 years experience in quality management assessment, preferably certified.

Knowledge of American National Codes

Must be capable of handling a heavy volume of work and perform effectively and efficiently under pressure. Solid working knowledge of manufacturing and/or fabrication processes.

Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English at a level required to perform the job as outlined.

Experience with computer programs, such as Word, Excel and Access.
