Job Profile

 

Our client’s Inspection Unit ensures that all purchased commodities are shipped in compliance with controlled technical requirements. Through specialist in-house expertise, supported by a network of contracted leading agencies, they drive comprehensive source inspection and quality monitoring programs. Quality assurance is also guaranteed through periodical assessments of approved manufacturers and quality surveys of new manufacturers.

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Planning, scheduling and performing inspection reports to verify compliance with the purchase order requirements.
  • Evaluating potential new manufacturers’ quality systems, for compliance with international standards (ISO 9001) and company requirements.
  • Evaluating whether already approved manufacturers still meet with all quality assurance requirements.
  • Providing consultation and interpretation of company standards.
  • Reviewing and recommending changes as required.

 

Candidate Profile

 

  • HTS degree or equivalent technical qualification.
  • 5 years experience in quality management assessment, preferably certified as Lead Auditor.
  • 3-5 years experience in the petrochemical industry and quality assurance/quality control engineering.
  • Knowledge of international codes and standards (i.e. ISO 9001).
  • Must be capable of handling heavy volume of work and perform effectively and efficiently under pressure.
  • Solid working knowledge of manufacturing and/or fabrication processes.
  • Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English - at a level required for successful performance of the outlined job.
  • Experience with computer programs, such as MS Word, Excel and SAP R/3.
