For one of our clients in the Tourism industry, we are currently looking for a financial accountant to join their Dutch HQ based in the Hague region.

 

 

Job Profile for Financial Accountant:

 

  • Accounting of all standard and non-standard business transactions.
  • Budget, forecasting and reporting.
  • VAT (TAX) returns.
  • Monthly and end year closing.
  • Calculating profit & loss reports.
  • Short and long term cash flow planning.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and or Dutch GAAP.

 

 

Candidate Profile for Financial Accountant:

 

  • Qualified Accountant or degree in accountancy.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) and Dutch is an advantage.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of finance systems CODA and or Cognos is preferable.
  • Well organised, timely and persistent.
  • Task oriented (fast and accurate worker).
  • Good communication and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and respond under pressure.
  • Good numeric skills and able to work accurately.
  • Hands on / can do mentality.
